Had a few rear belt issues. Looking forward to Airtronics race, I really need to run the car alot more. This car turns like a mutha and that is a good thing.

Speaking of rear belts. I just started putting my Mongoose together for the summer and notice that with the 20t main shaft pulleys the rear belt is quite tight. Is this normal? This is with the K factory belts. Thanks, J Longbrake.

Unfortunately yes, My problem is running the 18th pulley and it being too loose. I am looking into some different length belts.

he ran 18 internals
he ran 24/45 second I believe we agreed it was overgeared.
we ran 18/52 23/46 at fort myers 19 internals. Eric ran 18 internals with 24 on second. I would recommend the first option. If you opt for the 18's use the 23/46 and the stock rear belt with bigger bearings on the tensioner. you could also use a side tensioner bearing assembly on the rear.
