Wade,
I've seen a post that said to shorten the lower front arm by 2 mm to achieve a 195 mm front width. What effect on handling does this modification have?

More front traction without loosing rear traction, I personaly like my car at same width on front & rear.

Thumbs up G4 wins british touring foam championship

Well done to Darren Johnson who clintched the British title this weekend with his G4. Darren needed to finsh 3rd in the last race to win but after engine cut off the start he had to really push hard to keep his hopes alive, 3rd place was only gained in the mins of the race. He managed to fend off all that the Serpent team could do to gain the title which is an pretty amazing feat as Darren doesnt have a team to assist with tactics.

I have read someplace that the front universals of the V-One RRR are a direct fit for the Mongoose universals, is that true? I hope it is because I have a race this sunday and my parts does not get to my LHS till next tuesday. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the rrr, but I know for sure that the ones for the rr or rr evo works perfect, you just need to find out if the rrr is the same as the rr evo

If you would not mind using dogbones instead of universal try puting in RRR front axles and Mongoose dogbones. That's what I put in my car after a crash some time ago since I did not have spare universals back then.

Maybe this means that you could use RRR universals alright since the axle lenght inside the bearings is fairly close to the Mongoose's if not the same...

You can get a blank setup sheet here

http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/cml_setup.htm

Scroll down the page to Blank set-up sheets and you'll find the TMG4 sheet.

Also you'll find a lot of set-ups from different drivers and tracks, for rubber and foam, That is the old web site, also you'll find more set-ups in their new web site.
