Re-adjust your left-right steering turnbuckle. Your car has too much toe-in. Start with zero-toe.

I was the one who used the super hard spring. I didn't use the hard spring because it didn't seem that much harder than the stock red spring for the UFO clutch.

I use Mugen Optional Spring(super hard#H0767) with K1410 for a long time.
The gap between flywheel nut and adjusting nut is almost flat.
From the latest race I started to use the UFO clutch(K1497),I thought I won't change back to K1410.
Hope this help...

Default G4 (E class) ?? Improvements

Hi All,

I've been away from the sene for some time. You can tell cause I have the original 'E' class !
Anyway,
I have most, almost all the K factory parts on my car, except the more up to date stuff.
I still have the 'sliding' steering and the original push type clutch.
I have the original steering knuckles also and stock gearing that came with the car.
My question.....?
Oh yes, my question.........lol
My car drives prity good.....infact its great! I love the car. It has loads of steering, so much so I was having trouble getting 'enough' rear end grip.
I'm at only 60% steering! Anyway.....
What would you guys suggest would be the worthwhile improvements for my car?

Bare in mind that I am a maintenence fenatic........I strip down (to the last nut an bolt) the car after every wkend of racing! So I do not mind maintaining the car.
Having previously come from England, I'm used to running on rubber tyers and so am still using them now.
Current set-up,
Front:
25lb springs, 40 wt oil, stock pistons (with o rings around the pistons though), 0.5 to 1 degree toe out, shocks laying down using K factory 3mm chassis. And 5mm ride hight.Anti-role Bar...Flat. Using Kyosho's adj' geard diff.
Running about 120,000 wt grease in.
Rear:
32lb springs, 50 wt oil, pistons as above,3 degree toe in, shocks sting fully upright on K factory tower. And 6mm ride hight.Anti-role Bar...45 Degrees.
1000 wt fiff' grease. Camber link: Inner is uppermost hole, outer is 2nd hole down.

I use the titanium ball cups, low friction belts etc.
Ant help would be greatly appreciated as although I've had the car for over a year I only started driving it 1 month ago !
Also....I'm on Iowa/Illinois border. Any good tracks around?

Thanks.

I would get K1471 (Brake Bracket W/Alu. belt tensioner) & K1474 (New Alu. middle mount) make sure these parts fit G4 E calss the 2 parts above are for Mongoose G4.

Need to change my grearing for small track. Do I change clutch gear to 18 & 23? How about spur gears do I have to change them? I do not want to change the spur gears if I can? Have you change yours?
Please no lab experiment, there is not much left in the budget.
