Default Who modded this engine? HELP!

Bought a Serpent 810 a few months ago from a buddy. He bought it from his buddy a few years ago that we can't find now to ask this question to. I'm getting ready to sell the car & the engine and can't figure out who modded the engine. Car has been a shelf queen for about 4 years now. I ran one tank through it and it screams, but nobody runs nitro tc around here.

Looks like "Maly" or "Moly"...

Is anyone familiar with this name?

Engine is a Novarossi SX-12 SS

Thanks!

That's a Maxy's modified engine. I have two modify engines by him, and yes, they scream like hell and they are wicked fast too. But that was long ago, I don't know if he still modify engines. Hope this would help you. Z.

Thanks Guys! I would NOT have picked that 3rd letter to be an "X' in a million years. I may just hang onto it since I really don't know what was done to it. Everything is tight compression wise, just dusty. I think it was a car that was built up by a guy with a lot of spare cash & never really run much.

I may end up putting it in a dirt oval car and seeing what it'll do.

Thanks again!

If it's still in good shape, it should make a great dirt oval motor.
