Default 3+ speed tranmission

I basically took a twin engine four stroke savage and turned it into an indy car. I am using the upgraded 3 speed transmission made by hpi but i have sooo much torque on a low rpm engine that it revs out in no time, does anybody make a tranny with more gears, or maybe a way to make my own?
thanks

Default 3 speed

BMT used to make one in the mid to late 90's if you can find one. Also I believe Schumacher had one on a truck you might look for too.

The Kyosho Giga crusher has a 3-speed system as also the Schumacher Fusion, both cars have a clutch with 3 gears and directly on that the 3 speed gearbox. The 3-speed of the savage is a middle shaft gearbox.

Else you have to take a look to the old BMT 3-spead gearbox and from what I have seen in my early days a Collari car was using a 4-spead gearbox made with a 4th set of gears on the excisting 3-speed BMT gearbox. (the BMT sitem can be stapled with as much you want)

Don't waste your time on the Schumacher 3 speed it is non-adjustable and inconsistant.
