It's going to be the same as it was last year. There are no changes in any of the rules related to 1/8 on-road. A number of members had simply asked about running longer qualifiers related to this race, and I'm receptive to the feedback, but nothing is different for this event. Those are discussions for future consideration.

Where can I find the 1/10 Sedan rules and regulations for the Nats? Is there a flyer, or a website? Thanks!

My very first 1/8 Onroad nationals as a racer and an organizer back in 1991 ROAR asked us to have a meeting room reserved. Gene Husting, Roy Moody, Ron Paris, many of the founders of the hobby were present. The topic was.....how do we shorten the Nationals event. Tons of ideas were given, mostly good, and 20 years later the debate still goes on.

Yes, that was a very good meeting.

We should have a meeting at every National Event, as it the largest group of members durring the year. Time to talk and listen for officers and members.

If my reading of the rules is correct, yes unless the track advertises that it is banned ahead of time. Of course, it has been a bit of an unwritten rule to not use it in the past. Now that you have asked for clarification, I suspect it will be banned. But then, how will it be enforced?

They're going to sauce the track, no need for your portable stuff.

Mark,
Tire sauce will not be necessary. The track is well prepaired and traction is high. Wear is low also. One set of tires for the day, ect.
Very similar to Toledo and 301.
Even with that said I'm sure there will be some to still try and sauce.

VP Race Fuel LC6 cut with methanol.
This product basically picked up where VHT left off. Humidity does not effect it. If it rains and then dries completely the track doesn't go to crap.
Check out VP's website and check it out Sean.
