Yes, I saw several drivers with them. I bet next year there will be nothing but spectrums

Hi Mark. Good to hear you are back too. It was great playing with toycars together for a week. Have you sent in your registration for 2006 yet? I will be working on a 110% fuel proof Rx box for the next year.....

Acctually, the baloon did not prove to be enough protection. not even with the putty around opening. Fuel travels up the wires and provides and fast but painful death to the Rx.... Not to mention the driver...

Good to hear you guys got back in one piece.

Well, one good way of not getting fuel into your Rx is to tell the pitguy to aim correct.

Else, I think radio manufacturers should device a fuel proof Rx. Why not? You have Quantum with water proof ESCs...

I can't stop thinking that there has to be a way. And this is for sure not a single occurence. I will spend some time with it. If they can make wires penetrate boat hulls and have no leakage, there has to be a way....

As soon as I can, I'm sending in my registration

Let us know if you make any progress with the fuel proofing of the Rx unit - wasn't a nice sight to see

Cheers, Mark.
