Yeah I saw that. I don't know if its authentic but if it is ... then goes to show the difference between a sponsored driver, a super-rich driver and the rest of us privateer drivers. I'm still using my 2 year old V12 Rody and if it was allowed, I would even use it for the upcoming Nationals series.

Forgot to mention ... if its real, I don't think its the work of a sponsored driver. Just for the record.

I think part of the story is Winternats couldn't be at another time because the Lee (County) Civic Center, where the track is located, had events planned for the rest of the month. So Winternats couldn't switch. I don't know what Snowbirds story was. I'm sure it wont happen again.

if it was authentic i wish i was the one that took the picture , i could always use spare parts(carbs,cooling heads)
