Dale, how would you describe the new shell?. Aimed at big tracks, small tracks, high or low downforce?. Maybe how it compared to other Protoform shells?.

At first I didn't liked the styling of it, but now I'm starting to like the aggressive styling and it looks like it has a really small cockpit.

DS Motorsports:

It's a bit to soon to answer your question regarding the performance strengths of the new SRS-N sedan body. There has only been one on an actual race track, and it has just happened in the last few days. I have not had a chance yet to discuss Robert's findings. I would have loved to be in Thailand personally.

When designing a new body, naturally there are hoped-for objectives. In this case I was trying to design a high-downforce body that had improved steering charactaristics. In a few months I will know more about the personality of the SRS-N body on various different chassis brands and track configurations. Only after more testing will I know for fact that the body style is really successfull.

The fact that Robert Pietsch used it with a degree of success (=quick lap times) is definitely a very good omen.

Juki;

The new PROTOform "SRS-N" sedan body is EFRA and ROAR approved. (EFRA #2047)

Just waiting for my painter to get me a body with some sweet color on it - and it will be officially released.

I think the Spark will be available in a few weeks because there was also one in the stand of Xceed at the Toyfair in Germany. So they should start to sell it..

They are the same, and are either available through Xceed or SRC.

Well this weekend I tested the new protoform SRS-N body. What I can tell you is this is a must have in your garage. This body has great steering. Especially for tight turns at low speed. The rear traction is awesome also. Compared to what I have tested with other Protoform bodies, this is the most aggressive, which I really liked. Without losing the rear stability. There are also some guide lines on the rear behind the wheel that offer different heights to cut the body. You can leave it at its longest length for the most stable high speed. If you want more high speed steering than cut it, one level at a time till you get what you want. I liked it and used it at the middle. I was able to use it this weekend at the Florida State Race which is the warm up for the Winternats. The body was very fast all weekend.

Here are a couple of photo's

That is possibly the nicest front end and sticker set I have yet seen on any RC car race body.
