Default What Is The Best Radio?

This might have been asked and answered someplace else, but who has the time to read everything? Anyway, I am curious what the best radio on the market is. I am in the market for a new radio and I am looking at the M8, PK3, and the EX-10. Any others I should look at or can be recomended? THanks

The 3PKs PCM feature makes the 3PK the most glitch-free system.. At least of what i heard

When i bought my helios i decided between 3PK, M8 and Helios.
The 3PK was just too top heavy. So that one fell off my list as soon as possible.
The M8 Is extremely great balanced, so is Helios. But the Helios is better in the mains because of the angled wheel = less straints on wrists
And looks ofcourse, Helios just looks sic!

I don't own a 3PK, but after testing a friend's I also feel that it's really too top heavy. Even my basic Hitec Lynx FM feels better

Airtronics M-8 transmitter only $179.99 at Ultimate Hobbies Orange, Ca (714) 921-0424, if you have compatable receivers, like the HiTec HFS-03mm or the HIS03MK if not you can usually get them for around $30-40, even Hobby People have them that cheap!

Glitch and worry free, get 3PK PCM... Advance and easy to your wrist, get the Helios. M8 is also good but worst on the wrist than helios and has no failsafe as well as too plain and very old style. Times to learn using stick?

3PK all the way......good radio, never gave me a problem, and happened to me several times, when my receiver pack suddenly is dead, my throttle servo cable got cutted off, my steering servo wires got cutted off.......and my transmitter power is dumped...

All those time, my fail safe feature saved my car from hitting the wall 60 mph head on.......

Also, good weigh lifting on my left arm.

M8 with its versatility and simplicity. Super easy menus and if you get it with the crystal free setup you'll always have the benefit of never waiting for an open channel. A big plus over many of the current high end radios that still use crystals.

Futaba is coming out with a sythesized module and receiver soon. The module is available now but receiver is not. With this and PCM, you can't resist. I would have bought the Helios but it doesn't offer PCM.
