Default Any problems with a digital servo on throttle?

In my search for a good steering servo, I've read a few posts that have said that a digital servo on throttle is not a good thing. Supposedly it has to do with braking burning them up or something.

So, is analog better on the throttle? Any problems with digital? I have a digital high torque JR DS8411 laying around that I'd like to put on the throttle of an MTX-3, but only if it'll be better than some cheapo analog servo.

I run a futaba digital servo on throttle S9451 and it has been fine.
I think the trouble is when you use ABS for barking, this can cause the servo some grief
