torque advantage, however we have discovered how to get the rpm out of it to.

on another note RD's version has been dubbed a Mongoose and will be boxed as such in the next month. I will be starting a new thread under RD Logics Mongoose

The car?? Mongoose? IMO, the g4 gives it a better ring, and there wouldn't be confusion between the two. anyway, thanks for keeping the car alive and thriving, you guys are great

we intend to leave past history behind. do a search and read up on the animal mongoose and you will understand why we chose that name

The mongoose, H. edwardsi, is known for its ability to kill snakes, including cobras. When attacking a snake, the mongoose provokes it to strike repeatedly, avoiding it by agile dodging; when the snake is exhausted the mongoose seizes its head in its jaws and crushes its skull.

get it?

Down under in Australia, we kill snakes with a shovel, but I guess it's not a very sexy name for a car, is it.

Funny, I just talk to David at RD Logics Thurday and he never mention anything about a name change... Maybe a RTR G4 and a Pro version RTR with motor and pipe.. I really don't think that new name is set in stone... but if it... I'm bringing over to RD Logics next week my G4 with the Bell crank installed. It's about 90% complete... I'm running the new steering system with no problems at all... No broken belts nor missing teeth on the belts... and the steering is smooth as silk... I hope we all that have had the car for awhile can help those that just got the car... Not to say G4 is complex... It's just that knowing the car way a few of us do here can really help those just getting started with the car... Shock issues... Steering issues... wireing issues... antenna mounting... ect.

yes that marketing parallel was discussed also, there were alot of reasons that name was chosen.

not that I am aware of. the option side and rear pulleys will cure that issue when we get them though as you will be able to lower or raise the internal ratio of the car

Thank heavens someone appreciates my sense of humor, Pyramid.

Seriously though, good luck with the Mongoose.
The G4 won our Victorian State Titles down here in last year.
