right now we are bringing in the g4evos discussion around a specially optioned kit has occured in house but may not be persued til spring. regardless it will be an optioned up k factory kit not a spectacular redo. The only thing we have really discussed in house is a color change, and there needs to be much more discussion. As we learn more about the car we may introduce RD specific parts made by us and distributed for the car.

example say were just not still satisfied with the steering system and we cant get a factory change. we would make our own option setup.

Well the 710 is giving me fits with its durability, parts on the car bends and breaks too easily (front end). And I'm having a hard time getting the car set up. I really don't like too fiddle too much with the car now days. Must be be age.

But anyway, good luck with the car. I'll keep up your progress and who knows, maybe i"ll get one

Thanks Roy

We're very happy with the way the 710 is, thank you. I'm sure Dennis is also happy with the 710 but I guess business directions take precedence and doing something to bring one product from oblivian is a challenge that probably gives Dennis a lot of satisfaction personally.

Roy, how are you? Where are you getting your parts from? It was noted that Serpent upgraded their plastics for the front and lower bumper and none of us have any problems regarding durability. What setup problems do you have? I never knew you had problems with the car. Perhaps you do not go online often to take a peek at RCtech or mytsn but post something to get help on the 710 forum. Let us know your problem. I'm sure lots are willing to help you out. Cheers.

HAHAHA!!! If Serpent bought the rights to the G4 and sold it under the Serpent name, the 710 would be in oblivion. The only reason the G4 hasn't taken off is the pi$$-poor marketing, sales, distribution and support efforts. Put a G4 in Hara's hands and you couldn't touch him. Keep sending Serpent all that money, though, I'm sure they appreciate it.

Motorman, that sounds like great news... I've had to either drive 45 mins to Ultimate hobbies in the City of Orange California and hope they had the parts I needed... or order my parts online... Looking forward to RD Logics taking over things and supporting the car in the US. Having 2 G4's for over a year now, I must say the car can be GREAT if supported... Issues like the steering went around and around on the G4 thread for almost a year before TM fixed it... The clutch was an easy fix for me... I just switched to the stock Yokomo spring and all was fine... As for the Shocks... One car has Mugen shocks and the other TM's with the o-ring removed. Oh, and let's not forget the fuel tank issue.... Still I never gave up on the car... I brought the Mugen MTX3, finally giving in to what everyone else was running in SoCal... Nice car... but there was something about the G4... That I couldn't sell it... Now with the steering fix in place I can finally drive the car the way it was meant to be driven... Thumbs up to RD Logics and TM for working out a deal... There was few guys driving Mugens asking me about the car at the ROAR western Reg. this past weekend that made it the A-main... Future drivers eager to drive the car and RD Logics supports... The future looks bright indeed!!!

Hope you're happy with the front belts and the new steering KMac.

What's worse than sending money to a company and still not get the car to drive correct, right? This after how many months?

Let's hope Dennis and RDLogic synergy brings justice to the G4 that it rightly should get.

don't bet on it.The last time I was there with problems with my 710 I was accused of bad mouthing it.To be honest I was very dissapointed with reliability issues despite its hype.Mind you I still have the car.

Sorry. I guess we sensed that you had other intentions. We don't claim to be problem solvers. If the car does not work out for you, then sell it to me for USD 50.

I was merely suggesting Roy to give it a try and ask around for help in the 710 forum which he has not done so before this. FYI, I know Roy from the now defunct non-HPI forum when he was driving the Serpent Impulse.
