Default Ridiculously fast engines?

I'm looking to get a really powerful engine for my NTC3, and was wondering what you guys would suggest. I've been checking out the .18TZ from O.S.

P2 MAXX, not mutch rpm but tons of torque so find large pinions to convert the torque to the speed.

Are you going to be parking lot bashing with this car?? Because a .18tz would be illegal for roar sanction races. Now if you are just bashing a .18TZ would be a good choice for your Nitro TC-3. I put a .18 TZ in my V1rrr for bashing and man was it fast!! .18TZ in my opinion is one of the best bang for the buck bashing motor that you can get. And it responses well to modfication just don't go extreme with your mods.

a Race legal Novarossi .12 will be faster that the OS 18tz. With the right tuning in my experience. I had both the NTC3 and the Kyosho V1RRR. I ran the Rossi moto in both. Sick fast and great on the track. But if your looking for bashing like was mentioned before the 18tz is the way to go (about half the price of the Rossi). Runnin the tz alone gets old so I would get a race legal twelve and keep your racing options open.

Maybe a .12 novarossi is faster but it cost almost 3 times as much as a .18TZ and if you are BASHING not worth it Because if you take $150 dollars and mod that .18TZ then the Nova .12 would not be able to touch it and come out cheaper too.

Wouldn't get the evo 3 though, unless you get a lot of rods.
They are known to blow the bottom bushing of the rod prematurely - and I know from first-hand experience... 3 times. Incredible power, but bad rod design.
I'd get the evo 4 - fixed that rod issue.

For a Nitro TC3????? Who would still be willing to bring one of those to a "sanctioned" race event when even a Mugen MTX3 or a Kyosho 2R is already obsolete? Anyone who has a Nitro TC3 is most definitely is planning on bashing and maybe running in a local parking lot club event where the rules are laxed.

Don't recommend $300++ Novas for a car the guy probably got off Ebay for about $100 or less. Get a grip.

If the OS .18TZ fits your budget then it is fine for your TC3. Just remember to use OS plugs.

I would recommend a .12 race legal engine(picco torque etc...) even if you just want to bash now. It will be easier to go racing later, and will also be easier to sell ! The Ntc3 is a really challenging car at any level, and the setup window is very narrow , but I think if you are dedicated, you can make it work for you.
