I just checked how many photos I took. Including maybe 200 or so duplicate photos, the folder on my hard drive has the following:
5.22 gigs of disk space
57 folders
2,975 files (pictures)

Yikes.....

I guess they didn't see a reason having a 200mm World's title.

Well, I cannot confirm that, but that has nothing to do with IFMAR, or Brazil, or custom, or tires or the car V1RRR.........it is simply a COUNTRY thing. (again, thats what I heard from some sponcered dirver at the EAST that was told not to race at the world because there is a order for them NOT to race).

The rumor is....the whole JAPANESE MFR are very orgainzed, since they know Kyosho (right now) has the most resource and power to take over the world, the rest (Mugen, kawahara, HPI, Yokomo...etc) decided not to send their top guns to fight against this title....(again, DO NOT bash me for making this things up, it is just a rumor oversea from some Japanese forum)........

They are very orgainized....even different MFR, they still want the JAPANESE team (not talking about an individual MFR....just a Japanese Brand) to win this title....

I think it is very ODD that not 1 single Japanese Team driver beside Kyosho are attending the WORLD.........rumor said, they already made that decision after the PRE-WORLD..........

And this year, it is Kyosho and Sirio year....they took the 1/8th On-road, 2nd and 3rd @ the 1/8th off road...now, 200mm on road....
It is just like Olympic 4x100 relay.....the best runner will run for their country....

Again, it might be all BS.........but I found that more reliable then saying that the Yokomo/Masami does not have a best nitro car or good chance to win, Mugen MTX4 is not there yet, HPI's Hara want to concentrate on the EP......etc.

If Tamiya designed a car and have a driver that can win the PRE-WORLD...........they would let Tamiya ONLY run the world.

Correction, the 1/8th off road world champion is Mugen now

To "wad" - many of those pictures are on the rc-racing.com area, in item #141 in the on-road conference. They are rather big, so will take a while to download.

Choco, they must have got them in the end because both MS and MG had them on in the finals. Maybe ...
