Most of the best drivers don't race that class, so its not on most people's radar. A dying class.

i think you are confusing the classes.....

1/10 235mm world championship was held only 3 times.......michael salven won twice and brian berry once.....

lamberto collari is 6 times world champion, but he runs 1/8 class....
actually he is driving for kyosho....

Actually this year marks the first IFMAR IC world championships for nitro sedan. The one in 2002 was a 'world cup'

The 235mm class has been discontinued from the World's but if it wasn't it would still be taking place at the same location as the 200mm worlds. Dispite this 235mm class racing is still going on at most major race events.

Yeah, when you say 230mm tc class, that is much different than 1/8 nitro cars. The TC 235mm class (that's the actual size) is dying but not dead. Sometimes the races mix the bigger bock 200mm cars with standard 235mm to make the class bigger, but most of the best drivers don't compete. The reason is the lack of support in the industry and at such big events, the best drivers have responsibilities in 200mm TC and 1/8 scale, so adding a third class is low on the priority list.
