Default 1/10th INS Box

What are the advantages of using the INS Box, if it not mandatory in your local track? On the order hand, what disadvantages will I get from using it? What model would you recommend..

Thanks in advance for your responses..

INS Box only required 8th scale on-road, By ROAR Rules. Local tracks may require them on all 10th & 8th scale. ROAR again has a decibel sound limit on 8th scale. Local rules come in effect. IMO I see little differance with INS, It just quieter w/ decibels., on 8th scale

I would hardly say there is a power loss, maybe only ever so slightly.
Definitely makes the engine quiter (thats what it was designed for) and it would also keep the filter cleaner/easier to clean. Not guaranteeing it keeps 100% power on the engine, but the loss would be minimal IMO.
