Default need help quick with mx-3s

i both it today brand new and ptu ti togetehr and my servos dont move at all or respond is there a certain way u should turn it on for the first time?

the steering servo should be plugged into slot 1 on the receiver . esc slot 2. are your batteries in the radio good. is your battery charged. also make sure you dont plug into the receiver backwards.
