From experience, when I ran ALL aluminum pullies in the past, I went through alot of belts. After a awaile, the teeth on the pullies sharpen due to friction from the belt and the aluminum pullies. The reason why I only run the small drive pulley in the rear is because that's what came with the car. I know there's a plastic rear pulley available, but you would have to run the brake adaptor with the old style brake. You can run the aluminum pullies if you want to go through belts like I did. Its definately a " bling factor " in my opinion. To each, his own.

I was just wondering thats all, over here have no choice really, after cleaning out the track and sugaring it down, the track within the next 30min gets dusty again from inconsistent weather, I find that the plastic pulleys would chew up faster, therefore the only workaroud are the alu pullies.

I was just wondering if anyone would sense any difference in throttle response?

( Photo enclosed: Sorry for the blurryness )

I agree with that the only alu pully is the small drive pully...

ccrcraceway, I know I posted it somewhere, just do a thread search or on this forum for hudy pdf handbook or if someone would be kind enough to post the link.

It will give near all the information you need to know about rc onroad car setup.

My RRR had a good day out at the local track today car handle very well considering it was the first time running a front diffI'm hooked, the car was so easy to drive compared to a spool. To me its like having a oneway with 4 wheel braking, well I just wanted to share with all of the proud RRR onwers around the world....GO FAST and don't look back.
