Default 4 mm scock tower

hi,
i met a machinist who can cut 4 mm shock towers. i asked him the price, he said $20 per tower. i asked him if i ordered in bulk quantity--- he said that it would first have to be put on cad. if i can not put on cad myself, he charges $50 per hour and should take 2 hours. then he said it would be $5 per tower if i order 100 of them. so it would be total of $600 for 100. i am looking for 10 to 20 other people in the US who would like to go in on this project. for example, if we got 10 to go in on it, it would be $60 each and we would get 10 towers each. or say 20, it would be $30 each and we would get 5 each. please let me know.

You'll need the to use the #10 servo saver aka ackerman as well as using different flange balls to lower the steering rods because the ball end will hit the diff if you don't. I used the shock flange balls and a couple of3mm washers to get it to clear. Here are the parts you'll need:

Gear set part # VZ012, Bevel Shafts part# BS107,Diff Joint (19)part # VZ218, O-Rings Part # VZW020-01, 5.8mm flange balls...the ones used on the shocks, part # VZ225

Default front diff

The 12 is wider and it hits the diff housing....the 10 is still going to make slight contact but you can lower the flange balls enough to make it clear.

Remember to take off the outer flange of the pulley as its too wide and will interfere with the front bulk head (As i found out after 3 runs!)

Cheers
