I am not sure if this is the same thing but your symptoms are identical to what I had a while back. I ended up replacing the entire clutch assembly, 2 speed assebly and rear pulleys ...but nothing. Start the car, hit the throttle and there would be this small movement ...then nothing. I have two RRR's and compared the two part by part and still the problem escaped me.

Finally I replaced the 1st gear housing (if it's called that ) and my problem went away. I think the bearing in there went bad or something ...still can't quite figure out what happened. Try it ....you never know.

ok sp racer has helped me to find the solution, (THANKYOU SP RACER).. it appears that the clutch was setup correctly but engine tuning was the cause.. the engine os 12 tz3p is so rich from factory. I was reluctant to adjust mixture settings, as the engine manual states, run in as tuned from factory.. once i pinched the fuel hose the engine came to life and the clutch is now engaging properly.. ive tuned it and its now running perfectly.. oh my god what a chump!

thankyou everyone for your advice and help..

I don't think it is available. If you just want to convert to the stand up servo here are the part that you need:

VZ241 top deck
FM509B the receiver mount is on this parts tree
VZ246 grommets

Hope this helps
Eric

So after sitting here all winter reading posts from you guys that live in the warm weather places on how your car runs and everything else I finally was able to run my RRR for the first time. It has sat on my bench for four months.

All I have to say is that the car was really good. It still needs a little more tweaking but I was really happy with it.

I thought I would make a post about it.

On the WC Team Edition setup sheet it says that the rear toe is +2 degrees and I also noticed that one Cyrul setup sheet. Is that correct that you run toe out on the rear? I have never seen anyone run toe out on the rear. This seems a bit odd.

Also can you run the evo blue springs on the the non-evo car? Would these springs make much of a diffrence or should I just stick with the black gold and silver?
