What kit are you pertaining to? The V1RRR WCE or the V1RRR EVO WCE?

This front spool didnt last 1 race day
3 qualifiers and 1 20 min final but the out drive stripped 15 mins into the final.

bit early to say this piece is crap..the track i was on is a small tight technical track so a lot of on and off throttle and braking was used. i didnt have the brakes set to full lock either..

ill get pics when i take it out of th car tonight. warranty issue you think?

I've seen some guys here in SG running the kyosho spool using a silver colored UJs.. Not sure of the Part Number though, but I remember them saying that it's 2mm longer and it's made by Kyosho..

Hmm...Maybe that was one of the factor that lead to the early failure of the front spool...

That's odd. I used mine for my last race and it's fine. I did install the new (silver) universals for the last qualifier and main but I didn't remember seeing anything wrong with the stock universals. I beat the crap out of my car at that race. I broke 2 front steering blocks. I will look mine over after you post the pics.

I've been using the one on my car almost every week since the world champs - it's not showing 1 bit of wear.

The kyosho guys were using the "UJ joint grease" on all outdrives - did you use any lube?
