My only recommendation to you marty is dont buy one from overseas, get one from an aussie distributor. Doesnt have to be local if your not comfortable but get one from here.
I disagree with this Marty. Aust distributers are too expensive to buy here. I recommend going overseas.. You can get the same car for half the price. And i reckon you will get your car heaps quicker than waiting for it here. I get all my parts from overseas ad i havnt had any problems with it . As long as its insured in the mail you will have no probs.... Usually takes about one week to get here.

Personally i dont agree with people that buy things from overseas. Yes i know what you are thinking about my association with the local guys, but its deeper than that, if you dont buy off them at least buy from your own country. I just believe in supporting local (as in aussie) business as they support us when something happens at the track.

I know this has probably been asked before, and I did search first and did not really find what I was looking for. What spring rates are the gold, black, and silver springs for the V-one RRR? I saw a chart that someone posted of Kyosho springs but it did not give the lbs. of the springs, only diametere, coils, and wire size. Thanks to all who reply

Gold is hard, black is medium and silver is soft

Thanks mrgsr, but I'm also trying to figure out what each color is on lbs. because I all ready have several spring sets from other manufacturers that I would like to use instead of buying the Kyosho springs, thank for your response.....anyone else?

Polesitter,

If you are using the new Evo shocks, then you should be able to use all those other springs you have without any problem. If you still have the old RRR shocks, then probably you'll need to increase the diameter of the springs by dremmelling out the top and bottom a little until the fit onto the shocks.

If you can change to the Evo shocks, they seem to operate just that little bit better.

Here's the spring rate table you asked for.

Cheers, Mark.

hi all..

this is what hapened to my engine yesterday i think i am lucky that pieces of the broken iron didn't scratch the piston...

why this think hapened? any idea? just before it smashes i had a crash with an other car, i was hited on the right rear wheel but nothing was broken... although i had the filling that the car wasn't able to run... after that the engine stoped.. i started it again without no problem and after a big straigh the engine stoped again. the rest you can see in the picture
