here are pictures of the new front and rear shocks for 13mm internal diameter shocks springs and painted blue shock springs. what i noticed is that the upper part of the shock are bigger compared to the wce. only the rear shock tower is carbon fiber with 6 shock positions to choose from. the front is made of hard plastic with only 2 shock positions to choose from.

here's a picture of the new machined aluminum 21T drive pulley with new brake hub (3mm pin type) similar to the design of the v1r, v1rr, v1rr evo models. also noticed the the brake disc is smaller compared to the older v1r series. i placed a small spring in between the 2 brake pads to help the pads disengage faster after using them

Default hopping car..

hey guys
yesterdays race meet my car was handling awesome in the heats. however in the final with the only change being full size tyres (63rear 61 front) the car was very skippy and handling very loose on the track.

the main problem i saw was that the car was very hoppy in the straight and this track is pretty flat with no bumps.

could shocks /shock oil be the problem here because i did notice the rear shocks leaked quite a bit. i made sure the camber droop and ride height were all the same as the heats as well..

the shocks on the evo are totally different from the the wce. the part where the shock caps are placed are bigger compared to the wce shocks. also in the box sticker, it mentioned that the internal diameter is 13mm

the shocks that come on the EVO are the same as the Evolva 1/8th car.
