Raced the car today for the first time. Handled great. I had to play with the clutch a little bit in order for it to engage correctly.

I only finished one race but I qualified 4th out of 8 guys for the main, not bad. Running 50%.

Hey Mark, how is it possible to use Fantom/Evolva springs on the RRR? I have the red Fantom rear springs which measured in 26mm long, it's 2mm longer than the RRR rear springs, I've meddled with the shock ends, roll center, camber link...practically everything to make it work, but it just seemed to me that the springs are just a tad bit too long to work on the RRR. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi Tommi,

Hmm, not sure why they don't fit for you - the springs are a little longer, but I can still run 65mm tyres and have 5.5 or 6mm ground clearence. I am using the standard shock bodies with standard ends

What droop setting are you running?

Cheers, Mark.

Are their stronger steering rods and rear upper links for the RRR?

I use the steering rods from the XRAY XB8 as they are the same lengths but made of hudy spring steel which is much stronger than the stock Kyosho part and use Lunsford 25mm Punisher turnbuckles as I run the rear links long with the optional rear brace VZW207, if you run the stock rear brace Lunsford also makes the links in a 20mm length.

Hey Data! It's more souped up than any of my rides. Designer's weapon of choice.

I just broke a ball cup on my frount one-way. Don't ask me how!! Are there any Hopped-up ones that can improve performance?? I still think my front CVD is too short, I'll have to re-check it..

Do you mean outdrive? I check again on my 1-way, I have a 1/8" shim on the outdrive.
