I'm assuming that's his receiver inside a balloon. The Euros are hardcore, they race in the rain.

Sparx I was wondering what is the white taped, wrapped item on the upper deck by the throttle servo?
Yes the reciever is inside the balloon, we had some rain coming down on thursday so we made some rain preparing if we had to race in the wet. Great thing that the race were completely dry.

Congrats.

What is the track like? I noticed your ride height was pretty high. Was that just for the main or is the track bumpy? How is the traction?

The high ride height is only for the main, the track is super smooth so i ran between 4,5 and 5 during qualifiers.

Attached pic from above of the track, it's pretty tight for a Euro-style track but very fun to drive. The long corner after the straight is very banked so full throttle is possible.

Ill see if i can get some movies up

Yes, the tank lid is the new version. Comes with WCE and available as option.

That tank cap is new(er), that's for sure. Later on kits come with that particular cap. Earlier kits came with the original tank cap. As for which one is better is up for debate. The Empire guys are all running the older cap with the black seal in their Evolvas because of problem with the orange seal. I personally has the older cap still and recently the brand new tank I got from Kyosho is also with the old cap.

I recently bought some new seals and they are the black ones. Good thing, because my clip broke in half and was sitting in the bottom of my tank behind the intake. I guess I have the older WCE cap with black seal (see attachment and let me know). When were the new caps shipping with the kit? Must be I have an "old inventory" WCE.

What else shipped with the "newer" WCE kits?

Hey performula? What kind of cap you got?

I believe that you have the "old" style tank/cap. The new one is bulkier looking.

If you look at the pics of Bertin's car, that's the new tank. The pics of the RRR Evo appear to have the new tank also.

Nice track.

I noticed that you have your car setup soft in the rear. You are running 7000 wt. in the rear with silver springs? Does this help plant the rear of the car? How is the steering with this setup?
