At the moment, my current line of thinking is, "better to bend, than to break." It's a point that someone brought up in the UE/X thead about Ti.

I think the silver ones are the same as the Stock V-One RRR and the FW-05 cars. Only the WCE and the Evolva have the black ones which are a lot stronger.

But on the counterpoint, it's easier to discover a broken part than a bent one. Sometimes I didn't even know I had a bent piviotball until I was trying to adjust my camber.

The regular and WCE have different pivotballs. I take it you bought your kit as a WC. My first RRR was when it first came out and it had silver pivotballs.

Yup, the regular kit had FZ74 as pivot balls, and like Rainer posted, FM337 for the WCE kit.

I hear you - but if it brakes during a race, that's it. After crashing, I'm always worried that they are bent, but whenever I check them out, they are okay. It's usually the suspension arms that take all the damage.

I've never broken or bent the black ones nor have I ever seen on a sedan or the evolva. There's the chance that the plactic will break but I think that has to be a serious hit to break the car. I guess everything's a tradeoff.

No, Mine is all torn down in parts sitting inside the box. Mike ran his last weekend, the motor is ballistic!!! I ran my last year EVO 3 with the new EVO3 pipe, Mike's motor and his VR12 pipe was still a bit faster at the end of the straight.
