Can you qualify as a dealer if you carry more spare and option parts than your LHS?

Hey Tim! Can I just take two pictures of my house?

I bet you guys have more stuff than I do! Share some photos!

BTW - This doesn't include some of the parts I have in the toolbox. I really need to update the spares list at the Web site!

You can never have enough spares. Until you realize that they don't work on the next version of the car. I had ten sets of RRR uprights and steering blocks. I put a set on one of my older RR Evo's and it just seemed like a whole new car. I then put the rest of my reserves on my older cars and well ... now I need spares again.

BTW rmd, I like how your paint job is looking. Don't forget to post new pix. I also have a bunch of Kawahara decal sheets. Do you still need them scanned?

Shamefully, both Mike and I each carry spare parts that cost more than a new roller and 1/2.... I even have 2 spare tanks, I don't know why I have 2 tanks either.

As for share some photos..... you really don't want to know...

Stop hitting sh!t and people, and you'll be fine!

Key to that bumper is actually cut it so the foam bumper is slightly bigger than the plastic bumper.

As for the MTX4 camberlink piece. The problem is still no extra set of holes for the rear tower like the Kyosho piece. Only 2 screws for the rear tower is still a weak area.

Thanks - and thanks for offering to scan the decal sheets, but I think I'm okay for now.

Another work in progress photo. It's not really coming out the way I wanted it to, but you learn to live with your mistakes.

One word of advice I have to pass on today, is that if you use a liquid mask, make sure you do all of your painting in one day. If the paint cures to much (or fully in my case), it's very hard to get clean cuts once the paint dries on top of the liquid mask. The paint starts to ripple, get crumbly or flake on you and that starts to make a mess of things. If you don't have the time to paint your car in one day, it's probably best to put it off until you have more time.

It's funny how you start to change your mind on what type of paint scheme you want once you start seeing the results..

Airbrush. Definitely have to get an airbrush....

Another coat of paint down - one more to go (smoke). If I'm going to keep this paint scheme, I'm going to make some changes the next time around.

BTW - Some of the lines you see here are there are pen marks on the overspray film.

Painting and final fitting are done. That only took all day.

If I have time after working on my car tonight, maybe I can add some decals.
