It's, basically, a Mazda 6 with, what looks like, a shorter rear end. We'll see what the handling differences are, if, any at all.

Did you get it from the same seller?

I'm a strong believer in Protoform Mazda 6, and recently bought the Parm M-type... I haven't ran it yet, I'm sure it runs well according to Scott, but that thing is not good looking at all, especially the rear end....nasty!

Yeah, I think it was about two dollars cheaper on their website. No big deal. I agree about the new Parma shell. Not the best looking body, but I think it will handle well. Hopefully, it will have more steering then the Protoform Mazda 6.

The Type M is a bitch to paint using a liquid mask compared to the Protoform Mazda 6. The simulated door guard molding better have a useful purpose, because it sure is a pain to cut diagonal lines across of it. The front and rear windows don't have the inner line, so you just have to guess-timate where to put it - not that big of a deal, but certainly a detail that is missing for no good reason. They have it on the side windows. The PARMA lexan seems a lot more flexible than the Protoform's, but maybe it's just my imagination. They are both suppose to have the same thickness.

I only picked up the Type M to see if it would give me more steering as Scott and a few other mentioned. It may not provide the desired results on the track I run on, but a few laps around the track will tell me that. If it doesn't do anything for me, maybe I'll try the Altezza. I read that the Altezza is suppose to handle better than the Mazda 6

Sweet! Congratulations! What were you running prior to the RRR? Are you going to be racing in the ROAR nats next month?

It sure feels thinner to me.

Thanks!
Before there is any misconception, the tower and blue pieces are the only portion of the kit...for some reason I thought the rear raw metal piece (Picture 2 - thought it was Kyosho at the time) is another option. It is a Kawahara option.

As for the spurs, they are a harder materials.

Can't wait for the adjustable rear sway to hit U.S.!!!

Would be nice to have the lower bumper on our car now, then it'll be bulletproof!

Use the Evolva shocks in the rear of the RRR, so you can run smaller tires and can still have the right amount of up travel. BTW, part# FM529-1 shown IN the picture is the part# for current Evolve shock case.

Dom
p.s. I guess Japanese in college was useful.
never cared for that big old bumper on the rr evo,one good hit and it would bend down at the ends and cause handling problems. whats the eta on that sway bar?
this looks nice, being trying to figure how it bolts on.

The blue shiny pieces are mounted where the existing camber link mounts.
