Default New evo-parts

I just found this really good pictures of the new parts for the V-oneRRR EVO

http://www.geocities.jp/hobbyshows/j...uoka/rc/05.htm

The reason for the upright servo can be that it is a tight fit on top of the servo for the sanwa reciever that some of the Kyosho team memebers use.
I can't really see what the difference is on the gears, maybe material?
And the dampeners? are the diameter smaller or bigger?? It looks smaller to me.
The rear antirollbar looks good!

I'm working on something "somewhat" similar for the Type M I just got. Should be done by Saturday. Attached is a photo of the work in progess. Last coat of liquid mask went on Wednesday night. Only had time for two colors today. A few more colors to go. I really have to buy myself an air brush.

dont know about the diameter, but looks like the shock bodies and springs are a little longer on the evo

yes, they are evolva shocks, I just remebered that the Kyosho team have been using both evolva and rrr shocks for some time. Some drivers like the evolva shocks and some like the rrr shocks. What I rememberd from the Euos in England last summer was that most where running the rrr shocks.
One reason for running the evolva shocks might be that there are more springs to chose from.

The gears are definately different. It looks like their Nylon Composite compared to their plastic spurs. Just the shocks alone you are looking at a $90 USD upgrade - if both front and rears are replaced. It might just be the rears.

That and larger shocks = more consistent. Can't wait for the upgrade kit.

They are not larger, the diameter is smaller, but they are maybe longer.
What do you mean with consistency? How smooth the shock is? In that case consistency does not have anyting to do with size, consistency depends on how you build your shocks.

why don't they use the new TF-5 shocks?
They look very much like the Serpent FCC-shocks
