Of all the engine that are currently available and those which are forthcoming in the next one-two months, why did you choose this particular engine?

I ran the my EVO3 from last year bone stock and it was ballistic. It has a lot more grunt than any other mod motors I was racing against at regional last year. It's just a fast motor, period. Oh, one thing I forgot... Sirio carbs are so much more consistent then any motors I've had, the tuning aspect of it outshines my old JP, Rex motors.

FYI, Sirio is now distributed by Kyosho America. Anyone wants to get Sirio motors/parts, just contact your local Kyosho dealer and they can get it through Kyosho America.

Yeah Franko, I'll send it over when I get home. Unfotunately, there is no online setup that you can edit, so I have to write it down... scan it, then convert it to PDF....

Anyway, you'll have the setup tonight.

I'm holding out for either the WASP REV CRF or the Ninja. I was going to buy both, but building the Ultimate Edition + X is costing me quite a bit. If the .12 Ninja's bigger brothers provide any indication of how the engine will perform, then the Ninja might be the one to get. I'm really interested in the CRF because of the extended run time beyond 5 minutes and the fact that it introduces some revoluationary changes in fuel delivery to the combustion chamber. I may have to wait until the comparisons/race results are out before making a decision.

What are your thoughts on these two engines?

I've heard about the Ninja's, but not the Orion motors...

From what I've heard, the Ninja's are fast motors, and also was told there were reliability issues. Not sure if that applies to .12 motor since they just had the recall on the .21's recently.

I probably won't be running any other motors besides my Sirio's and my backup OS TZ.

Default Setup

hello all

setting the fron suspesion i noticed that the upper stop screw is totally unscrewed, also in the manual in the front part assembly there is no notice for the upper stop.

does anyone use it? if so reducing the available suspension moving length isn't a problem?

antony

I don't blame you. If I was hooked-up with Sirio, that's all I would use. I doubt that OS will see much track time other than practice.

Do you mean the droop screws (the ones that limit how far the front wheels can travel down when the car is lifted)? If so, you need to adjust them with blocks and a guage. You don't want them "totally unscrewed". You do need to limit the travel of the suspension.
