I thought I heard that the tanks now purchased seperately will come with the new lid/seal. I know when I purchased a tank a few months ago it came with the old lid.
My NIP tank came directly from Kyosho America is with the original lid and the black seal. The "new" cap that everyone thinks is better comes with an orange seal. As I was talking to a Team Empire driver over the weekend, from their experience and testing, the tank/cap with the black seal is a better seal. That only prompts me to believe why my new tank from K America is with the original cap and black seal.

Checked my lid before I made the post and it's black. I couldn't find any other info, so that's the best I could do.

A little bird that attended the RCX show this past weekend heard otherwise from the Kyosho America guys. Is that info posted somewhere on the Web?

Guys if you use the K factory rear universals for the kyosho you will have no issues going 200mm with 0 offset wheels or 200 with 2 mm offset. I sent a set of these to Ron Atomic and he loved them. He said they were so hard that there was virtually no wear on the drive pins after last weeks race. He used the fronts and rears.

I'm just joking around.

If Kyosho has truly stopped producing the WCE, then either the EVO is faster than it looks (doubt it) or Kyosho is coming out with a new car to take on the MTX-4 and the 710 replacement, which is due out this summer.

The Evo will replace the RRR and then the WCE will slowly disappear. Everytime Kyosho comes out with a new car it's predecessor is obsolete. The RRR has been out almost two years (WCE 1.5yrs) and Kyosho replaces their cars every two years. The WCE will be phased out by 2007 guaranteed.

We are at the end of its production. That doesn't mean anything bad, just technology at its best. Plus we don't have any detail of the Evo. It looks the same but 30% of its parts could be different. The RR to RR Evo was a big difference, probably 35-50% a new car. Proof right here: http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products...version-e.html

Whichever way you look at it the end is near.
