When you change the length of the upper link you change the amount of camber gain during compression. The longer the link the less camber gain.
Thanks Peter!

Guys I'm selling my V-One RRR WCE with hop-ups. PM if you are interested. It is missing the brake arm/ brake cam(can't seem to find it right now) but other than that is complete with lots of hop ups and special chassis'. I'll try to post pics as soon as possible but jeffrey lin can attest to the condition of my car, he races with me all the time and knows the car is good. I switched my car to the MTX-4 for logistical reasons.

No problem. Always willing to help with your website. It would have been a great resource for me when I first got the car instead of having to try so many different things.

Don't sell it! You should add it to your R/C Museum.

How much you want for it?

Yes. The other problem with the Red Box tires is the price. Where I live they are $3 a pair more expensive than Jaco's.

If you don't mind me asking, what are the reasons? You live right next door to Mugen USA, sponsorship, your best friend is a factory Mugen guy, etc...? Inquiring minds want to know.

Cleanning my airflilter is easy, but then I'm running a K&N. I don't know if there is a preformance advantage, but it's fun to see people react when they see it.

If traction builds up, go one-way with 20K or less in rear and 42s/40s(or 37s) combo. The snap usually comes from not enough diff action in the back.

You can also try another .5mm-1mm shims under the front upper arms. Just some suggestions.
Thanks for the info - I was going to try the softer oil in the rear this weekend, I also got some similar information from another kyosho driver here.

How do you mean about the shims and the front upper arms? For the caster?

Cheers, Mark.

No problem, Mark. I too got the info last year from both a Kyosho and Serpent sponsored drivers.

In the front I meant roll center change. I was surprised at how the snake guys' cars were dialed in low-trac conditions. Espo told me to try and level off or bring up the inner supports of the front upper arms a little. Front toe out was only 0.5 and when I changed from 40s to 37s, it was dialed. I changed to the 37s because track temp was still down. Felt like I was running foams on carpet. Please PM me and let me know if any of this works out for you. Good luck!

Jeffrey taught me something interesting about the car a while back. When you feel that the car is not as free as before the first thing to look at are the bearings in the hub especially the outside 6x12. Fresh bearings make a huge difference in the freeness of the drivetrain.
also the two speed shaft bearing on the right side in the bulk head just to note

kidDynomite, I've got my front roll centres up at the moment, I like the feel of the car in this configuration. I'll let you know what I find out in testing at the weekend.

Cheers, Mark.

Well I have joined the ranks of RRR WC owners and being new to this I was wondering if there are any parts that I should upgrade while building the car. Also, where are the best sources for parts and which spares do you reccomend getting? I live in Maryland and will be running at 301 raceway from time to time depending on the weather.

Thanks for any help that you can supply and I think the knowledge base is great

Welcome to the club!

We're working on the ultimate upgrade project, which is referred to as the Ultimate Edition and Ultimate X. That page is located here: http://www.nitrokb.com/vonerrr/UltimateEdition.html

Check the FAQ section in the knowledge base for the list of spares...
