most people don't use upstops because you don't get the full amount of suspension travel.

does anyone know whats the difference between the original radio plate and the revised radio plate part no: VZ230B

so no rear up stops ?

the revised upper deck has larger mounting holes for the tank , gives the tank more movement to help stop it from splittig. i have this upper deck on my car.

it came with the later release kits

No, there is no set screw or anything. Zero droop with some really stiff springs is about as close as you're going to get, but that would probably be a bad idea.

no pics sorry
its just like the previous deck but the holes for the tank are more an ovalish shape than the original round. a mate of mine just used a dremel on his standard deck

If you need a new deck than I think the 3Racing version would be cheaper. But if you are only changing it because of the revised tank mounting than wouldn't you be better to make the existing hole longer.

Is the 3mm 3Racing chassis the same as the stock chassis? Is one lighter than other? 3R have an advantage over the stock chassis?
