Thanks! When people were stating that it didn't have a battery cover, I couldn't quite figure out what they were talking about.

Ok guys I am looking to get a new touring car and cant decide which I should get MTX4 or V1RRR WC. I am not new to touring cars just havent had one for a year or 2 while I have been racing 1/8th buggies. Long story short there is a new onroad track near home and I wanna try and get back into onroad.

I learned racing offroad how good kyosho products are. I had a kanai 2 I absolutely loved. So I admit I am leaning toward the V1RRR WC. But I have been offered a pretty darn good deal on the MTX4.

Why should I buy the V1RRR WC? What makes it better and faster? Where can I get the best deal on one if I do decide to buy it?

The track I plan to race at is permanent and big maybe some of you have heard about it 301 raceway.

It's simple... the car flat-out PERFORMS ! Very agile, excellent corner speed, lightweight(actually, its under weight!) and very durable(some on this thread would say otherwise, but they really drive their cars A LOT and put a great deal of wear and tear on the car). I drove my car regularly and didn't have half of the parts failure others on this thread have had.

Plus, I'm not too far away from "301" and I'll be there to help you out, if, you need it.

Now thats a sale pitch. Have you had a chance to do any side by side comparisons?

What durability issues have people had? My experience with Kyosho I would say my Kanai 2 was by far the more durable car I ever owned and I woulda expected the onroad cars to be the same.

I would love to hook up at the track and have a good time. But I probably wont need too much help I have had plently of nitro touring experience. Just quit to race offroad exclusively after Dougs quit racing. I had alot of success there but didnt care for the parking lot racing scene.

That's funny!

Either car is fine and I believe they both perform equally well in capable hands. The V1RRR WCE is easy to work on, has lots of hop-ups and is easy to drive. I've seen Team Mugen Seiki race the MTX-4 and they kicked ass. I might actually buy one myself.

Tough choice, but I don't think you can go wrong with either of those cars.

Good luck!

Yeah, plus the MTX is pretty much a copy of V one RRR's design. At any rate, go with the car you can get better parts support.. then, again, "301" will have part support for both platforms, so go with the one you like bettter.

So the mtx4 is very similiar to v1rrr. A copy almost eh. When did the v1rrr wc come out?

I asked the same question on the MTX4 thread and got a its cheaper to buy Mugen response. I had to reply thats not the case since if you option a mtx4 with universals it would be the same cost as a v1rrr kit.

Like I said I was very very happy with my other kyosho car. And if the only response in Mugens favor is price which I dont agree with I am buying a v1rrr. I wanted to hear which is faster from guys who have had both or what makes them different.
