Alright,

I am looking for a front one way / front spool for my RRR WCE. I hear K factory has one but who can I get it from? Is there anyone else who makes one other than K factory. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

See the signature in my line. click the Phenix Dist link and you will find a dealer who can help you with anything K factory for your car you need. We stock everything for the RRR and other cars here in the USA.

No one makes one but K Factory. It has been a very popular part, actually the entire line has been quit popular. One thing about K factory you will find it a little higher in price than some of the other performance parts lines but no one builds the level of quality option parts these guys do except maybe Kawahara and K Factory made some of Kawaharas parts at one time. You just have to ask yourself do you want a low grade alumunium part of 6061 or worse, or do you want hard annodized 7075.

Atomic also make a spool available from RC Union this multi diff is probably cheaper than the KFactory because you use the original pulley. I haven't used the KFactory one so i can not confirm the longevity.

Default Should I increase camber???

Hey Guys,

I finally got around to breaking in my new RRR these past two weekends and noticed a few things.

Last weekend, I had the camber set as I do on the 4-Tec that I race on the same track, which performs exceptionally well.

(1deg front R & L)
(1.5 R/R - 2.1 L/R)

This resulted in a slight conning on the RRR's Left Rear tire, but turned corners ok. (Can't push it hard just yet because of the new engine)

In looking over the factory specs and speaking to the hobby shop I purchased the car from, they said not to cross 0.5 degs of rear camber.

So I made the change back and found that the car spins out easily on every corner.

It's not the brakes, which is set to just drag lightly.

So, should I increase the camber?

Should I look at the droop adjustment? (I know this caused spin outs on my 4-Tec)

What about the rear stay bar? (I know some persons who remove this)

Any help on which direction to go would be greatly appreciated.

First you cant compare the 3RWC to a 4tech 2nd your setup should be the box stock setup its a verry good starting point see how the car runs on ur track in the stock set up first then make your addjustments according to your track , never use .5 camber never ur front camber should be -2.0&rear should be -3.0 just to start & try -3 toe in too try that

Hi carkillaii,

Yes I know, in NO WAY can I compare these two cars. I was just giving a reason why I used the specs I did.

You mentioned never to use .5 deg camber, but correct if I am wrong, is this not what the factory specs are?

I would like to try what you suggest, so let me make sure I understand you clearly.

Front / -2 Deg

Read / -3 Deg

Rear Toe / -Deg

The track I am on is short, do you think this should be fine?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

first what type of condition is the asphalt grade
smooth permanent track
rough parking lot condition
then you might get the help you need since we already know it is a short track.

Hey 710baby,

Great to hear from you. Long time no speak!

The track is a parking lot. Some parts smooth but generally rough throughout.

Please find attached the track layout.

Looking forward to your setup layout.

Front Camber:

Rear Camber:

Rear Toe:

Rear Sway Bar:

Rear Droop:

Thanks!

Front 1/2 degree Toe out each side
Front 1 degree Negative camber
Rear 2 degees toe in
Rear 2 to 3 degrees Negative camber
Front caster clips all in front of the upper suspension arm
Front shock position all the way up to the last hole
Front sway bar standing up this should prevent the car from spinning out when turning and use 38 or 40 shore foam tire front ,38 shore foam rear
rear shock position on the middle TRY THIS SET UP IT SHOULD WORK JUST FINE

Hey Team Kamikaze,

Thanks so much!

I will try this setup and let you know.

The only thing is that I have about (5) sets of Arrows that I ordered which are coming in tomorrow. I think these are 37 Shore.

Is this ok for now? Or should I try to sell them off?

Also, what ride height should I look for? And the rear sway bar, should this be removed?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Default set up

37 shore should be fine for the rears , go harder on the fronts like 40 shore, also true the tires to 60mm fronts and 62 mm rears with front ride height at 4.5mm and rear ride height at 5.5mm and go smoke the competition
