Is it fast? My track is pretty slow... meaning it has alot of sharp turns. It's really an electric track. I think the stock gearing is fine. My car is as fast or faster than the rest of the cars.

If your engine is running good and your clutch is setup properly and it's still not quick enough then I would do as Doug said and go down a tooth on the pinion gears.

710baby, thanks, I take it is the 62505R. Yes that's the track I'm talking about. I either run there or Cincinati (me spell good). The GLC is usually a good time, if it doesn't rain.

(me spell good 2)
How is the traction @ cincinatti compared to the Toledo track.
I am trying to make room for the nat's & don't have any track time there.

I would recommend the 505 for your track since it is smaller than the track i raced @ & you will feel that has a bettter midrange than the turbo3 and the turbo 3 has a better topend on the straight but might be 2 much for that track do the testing & let me know what you think.

Thanks for that. I guess I will keep it for the bigger tracks. I will try to 505 out on our smaller track. I did think that if my OS TZ 12 has a fair amount of torque, then the 505 should be good if the torque is toned down a bit and I can find some more mid range. I'm hoping that will be another tuning option. I'll run it and let you know what happens.

Thanks.

Like someone posted for a small track I ran a 16/21 or 22 and will be using a 15/21 next time we run to try it out. I keep the 56 and 61 spurs with those pinions.

Hope that helps.

Picco try 15/20 or 16/20 if its a short track u still want the punch out of the turns and go 56/60

710baby, I haven't ran down there in a couple years (I only ran twice last year, major burnout ), but it sounds like the traction is about the same as it was at last years GLC. But then again with that many 1/8 cars running it might get higher. If I were you, I would ask on the Cinn nats thread.
