For outdrivers, here in HK we have the Shooter. about the same weight as Kyosho but 2 to 3 times stronger. Also have extra slots there if you worn one side.

Skyline Racing now makes rear outdrives as well as the front one-way outdrives for the V-One RRR. They last a lot longer and are roughly the same weight. Haven't weighed them yet. The local Kyosho drivers are using them now.

not sure what the link is! You may able to search on some of the website in HK for them. They retail at shop around US$9 pair.

FYI
Comming soon for the RRR. K factory Solid Axle/Oneway combo with ST steel Hardened outdrives These should be out in early Feb. Can be made one way or solid without taking it out of the car. Add 2 pins and roll 2 orings over the pins.

Super hard front outdrives and rear CVD's for the RRR are already axailable from K factory

Default New Build

I hope to be building my RRR WCE later this week and I was just wondering if anybody had any helpful hints/tips for building the car.

Should I start with the base (stock) setup and work from there?

What parts are you guys breaking or wearing out?

What optional parts do you find beneficial?

I have heard that the car goes together very well and works good "out of the box" but I have never built a Kyosho before.

Thanks,
jag

Default BIG NEWS!

Hi Everybody.

The world chanpionship Kyosho driver "Takaaki Shimo" will be at Revelation on Feb. 25 and 26th.
I Don't know Dana hold some race or not but "Shimo" will be there with his EVOLVA.

Don't miss this chance to see or run with him!!!

I'll be there for sure.

They're not on K-factory's website, are they? I was just recently there! Do you have any part numbers?

I would get the hinge pins from Evolva 05. They are much stronger than RRR. Also, get the 3Racing alum shock cap.

Looks like these parts may already have hit the shelves.....www.rcmart.com has them listed in their RRR hop-ups section along with some other nice K-factory pieces. They dont have the k-factory combo drive as yet, but theres another front combo made by Atomic (not sure of this brands quality? maybe someone can shed some light on quality?)
Cheers
