For those that asked about the thicker kawahara rear stay for the rrr here is the link to kawaharas site. A few pages back someone posted pics of 3racings rear stay that also looked thicker than the stock stay.

You will have to use a translator and the prices are higher than if you got the parts from champ. I can never figure that out, the manufacturers site is selling the parts for more than the store that bought the parts from them.

Cool

manufacturers do that to encourage people to buy from the stores. If they undercut the stores then their product wont be out there in the shelves where it counts. Gotta be able to reach as many people as possible.

Not everyone has access to the net.

I can't find the the rear shock tower on the site but I did find the front shock tower from the Evolution. I have been using this on my RRR and it works great with 2 more shock positions. Drops right in.

and while we're on the topic of shock stays, am using the 5 star ones for both the front and back... They're well designed, stronger (especially the rear) and have a better feel good factor than the 3 racing ones, albeit the SSG by 3 racing sure are pretty.

Unfortunately gents, am unable to get this off the web except from a local hobby shop... their web site's

I can't tell you for sure since I bought the car used without the stock front shock tower but from what I saw on other RRR's, I think the bottom 2 positions are identical. I'm not sure though.

I know that is why they sell the parts for more on the manufacturer site but it cracks me up when I can get zac tires for 1000yen at my track and kawahara has them for 1700yen on their own site.

Re kawahara rear stay....it is very new so they might not have posted it yet.

1700yen is what we are paying in the US for those tires!
