Default gear ratio

my shiftpoint is set according to track layout. i think it works fine so far. i plan to use 15/60 20/55. fr tyre 59 rr tyre 61. would it be much diff between 15/61 n 20/56?

doki: run with loose belt setting. smoother n faster at the long straight.
ziggy : refer to Rc world mag on how to DIY anodised stuff.

Default gear ratio

15/61 ,20/56 would be better the car will be real aggressive with this gear ratio.

Hi all,

Need help on my clutch, When the engine starts, the clutch doesnt engage at idle, however 5 seconds later, still at idle, the clutch engage. I need help.

I followed it at 1.2mm for the spring.

abt the shims for the clutch bell. it says to use 5x0.1mm and 5x0.5mm shims. I have no idea which one are those, could u guys point it out? and do i use one for each type?

your clutch bell is too close to the clutch!!
yous will need to put a few shims between the bearing and the threaded parts of the SG shaft to push the clutch bell away from the clutch.
I now run about a 1mm gap between the clutch bell and the clutch shoe, and almost zero play at the thrust bearing end, clutch is now sweet and easier to tune in.

Kinda New to the centax clutch, as to where to put the shims, is it in between the clutch bell and the shoe or clutch bell and the screw at the end of the bell?

Thanks

u must put the shims b4 u put the 1st clutch bell bearing until it turns smoothly(no contact with the clutch shoe). while assembly the thrust bearing also u must make sure its free. good luck

Default RRR with a floating rear body??

I am asking this question again to see if anyone has tried putting the V One R Evolution front bumper and floating rear mount onto the RRR. The Open nationals are in November and was considering runniing the RRR in 1/10 Outlaw with the Lola Body. Is it better to say with the standard RRR setup and attach the Lola body?

Any help would be great!

Ron is on the Skyline and the OS thread so you might want to post your request there. I am not planning on going to Vegas but Jeffery Lin from OFNA might.
