jeffrey,
the nationals was a lot of fun. the track was a little rough, and i had a hard time getting my car to work on it, along with a lot of other people. i finished in the D main. but it was definitely a good time.
i met jwf_frani and jwf_ronni... i think they both race at revelation. they were both really cool racers... just out of curiousity, where does the jwf come from, are they related???
at the winternats, i cut the insides of my tires out to prevent traction rolling. it was kindof funny how you do the same exact thing for opposite conditions. maybe next year you will make it out. francis was fast, just no luck... ron was super fast, i think he made 2nd in the B main, i think he was on pace to take the bump but something happened.

Joe, I am glad you had fun. Maybe one of these days you make it out to LA for a race too?

jwf=Just Wanna Finish. Although they both do far more than that.

Pardon me asking this. Jeffrey, what OFNA car did you race in ROAR? Are you also sponsored by Sirio?

I am glad someone find this entertaining

SilverM3, this is not the same person, just the same name. But to answer your question, he drove either the CD3 or GPX4, and is not sponsored by Sirio as far as I know.

The traction varies quite a bit depending on temperature and dust. Your car could go from traction roll nearly every corner in the morning to understeer in the afternoon with the same setting. It'll be a challenge but it'll be fun.

RD Logics Championship is 9/23-25. Hopefully you can make it.

i think everything in the r/c world is happening that weekend. we have a state series in florida, and our first race is that weekend. and i have been invited to a wedding the same exact weekend. i was invited 3 months ago to be in the wedding party, so there is no backing out (plus the wedding is in NorthEast and i got the plain ticket already)... by when does it get too cold for racing in LA?

What is too cold? 40f 32f 26f or when the computer gets too cold to work?
It's so cold and damp here most of the time, so when it gets to 85f we melt.
There's nothing like racing when you cant feel your fingers and toes, and look like a Michelin man

For the month of November, average high for LA is about 75F and average low is about 50F.
