I think its a solid (spool) up front. I read on mytsn that team Serpent wanted to try spool at front and mention that Kyosho team used it during the worlds.

Hi,

I gues you're right.

But if you look at the cars of Josh and Bertin, you see a diff I gues.
Why would they make a front axle that shape? I thought that the lower the rotating mass is the higher the acceleration and top speed will be.

What brand and kind of tires did the Kyosho team run?

Thanks and bye Thomas

Anything from America is Customs charged, even DVD's.
From Hong Kong I've only had two things charged, and both was from RC-Union. The other 50 or so deliveries had no charge.

They could be running a spool cos V1RRR come with a plastic insert to lock the diff.

840918001: Yes, the V1RRR come with an one-way, but it also come with the front diff case, the plastic insert for locking the front or rear diff. Take a good look at those extra plastic parts remaining you will find it there.

drove my RRR last weekend. all i can say is wooowie!! i am loving it! i found that at about 57mm front 60mm rear the car is quite easy to drive and is not as taily. i also moved the rear springs down to blacks and set the front rollbar to about 45 degrees. i have never driven a faster car then this. good job kyosho on such a great tourer!

The working system is similar to EVO except for the flywheel (small diameter as FW), the clutch bell (which is also smaller) and the clutch spring included is 4D type, I guess this one come from Fantom/Evolva clutch spring.
