Default Traction Roll HELP!!!

First time driving the RRR on the track and I am disappointed. I am sure it's my setup. I followed the WC setup sheet and with a new set of Fast tires (42F&R). The car during high speed corner entry off-gas just kept rolling like a monster truck. I tried lowering the car, but it didn't help. The tires were new and not cut. Is this what's causing it? My ride height was around 4mm Front and 4.5 Rear. The track had really high traction.

Can someone share a good setup for high traction tracks. Thanks.

you must run small tires for high traction track. 57F 59R would be a good start. also use thicker shock oil. try 70wt.

Yep when running on high traction tracks you really want the diameters under 60mm....the diameters Jeffreylin suggested are ideal

I just got my v1rrr wce put together. Pretty much just following all the instructions on the manual. The car ran fine, but I think I was not using the right glow plug. The engine ran pretty hot just after few circling. I was running OS .12 TZ 5 ports with A5 plug. Any suggestions? thx.

I ran mine a bit this weekend. Ran 2 qualifiers and got rained out. The track does not have very good traction and I was fighting understeer the whole time. I don't know if it would've been better if I was using the old chassis since I never raced at this track before and have no point of reference.

I ran 58F 60R (already trued). I would've use bigger ones but I did not have more Kawahara tires. If I use the GRP tires I would've need to adjust my track width. And with the weather as it was I was too lazy to make more changes.

Ran my car for the first time with the 2deg front hubs and Sirio EVO 3 engine with my latest setup. At last I have a car that is fast and easy to drive. For once and probably the first time ever, I have a car that works good in low or high bite conditions. Instead of trying to get the rear end planted, I fought to get the front end to bite more. It was truly confidence inspiring.

huh??? that wierd i have an os .12tz 5 ports engine and it came with a p6 turbo plug. did you change the inner head of the engine??? the a5 plug is a standard plug. it won't fit the inner head of the .12tz since it has a turbo inner head...try to check you engine...

I think Mugen is the distributor for Kawahara in the US but not sure. I know Revelation (www.revrace.com) has some sometimes. I get them from Asia as I am here on a regular basis.

I think if I was to get into 1/8 scale I'd get a Evolva 2005 since some parts are interchangeable and everyone who has or had one loves it.
