You should run your front tire about 2mm smaller than your rear.

Ok, I see.

Thanks!!

However, that WCR is so fast I seriously doubt the Evo3 can be faster. My JP full option is as fast as everyone else's motor but my WCR was faster than everybody else!
Jefferylin, do you plan on running 30% in your Evo3? I want to break mine in tomorrow as well, but it will be my first time running 30% and I've heard that I should shim the head by .10, I've also heard that I don't need to shim. I don't want to screw this engine up since it may be my last one for the season.

I would shim it just incase. That is what I'm going to do.

I am running mine with 25% and I won't shim it. I ran my WCR with 30% and I did not shim it either. However, I think Racing4Evo's advise is good--that is probably best for your engine.

You can tame the rear end down by either adding some more toe-in......3 degrees should be more than enough.
Or, you could add some more rear camber......-3 degrees should be good.
You could also reduce the rear droop to get more weight transfer to the rear wheels.
Cheers

yep, I am running 23T pulley on the front and this is exactly what happened- rear would break loose on entry to middle turn and I have to tap the throttle to remedy this.

The Evo3 was faster than my friend's JP Black. It has more top end and accelerates faster too. At the end of the run I came in at 240 and his engine overheated.

While I do not have the WCR here to compare, I think the Evo3 is comparable to the WCR.

hey jeffrey,

andrea rossi says on starmotor forum that that the evo3 is more powerful then the evo2 wcr version.

anyone know where to get the hex adaptor spacers? i have some washers that i dont know where i got from... just found them laying around at home which i tryed and felt it made rear more stable but i dont have enough to come out the full 2mm that i need too so i'm wanting to buy a set or kit of them.

Run your front tyres 2mm smaller than the rear, this should even the drive out
