I am concidering a V1rrr , how does this car hold up as far as durability and wear , ease of setup ? Does it require any hopups or is it good out of the box ? I currenly have a NTC3 V2 and its ok and want to try something different but more durable than the AE car .

Competitive out of the box. Very durable but certain parts do wear faster. Setup is easy as the base setup will work nearly everywhere with little adjustment.

jeffreylin,
Can you get away with just using the 24t pulley and not changing the belt? Will this allow you to run equal sized tires without any problems?

Well, first you will need a different belt for the 24T pulley, which does not come with the kit. I myself have not tried it since the 23T and the 2mm split seems to work well for me.

Yes, there are 1 degree and 2 degree optional knuckles but not included. I think there is a Kyosho wide bumper but I don't know how it will fit.

They make titanium ones and it MIGHT be harder than the stock one--to compare, the optional titanium turnbuckle is a lot stronger than the stock black steel ones.
