I got mine from a model shop in Taiwan. I tried to get a couple more for my friends but they were sold out. I tried Champ and Futaba a couple of weeks ago and they were out too. Looks like a popular upgrade.

I have been around, just been busy with work and girlfriend.

I am looking to run nitro again. I used to have serpent vector and kyosho fathom ( you are right I have not touched rc for a long time). I am thinking about either V1RRR WCE or serpent 710. All feedback and opinions are welcomed. Also, where is the cheapest place to get either one? Thx for the help.

I have selected the following radio and engine:
OS 12TZ (p) T5
EX10 and 2364 digital servo

they are both really good cars... if you want a 710 i have one for sale... i only ran it for two months... it has all the hopups on it... ceramic bearings through out the whole car. i paid $370 for kit. and about $500 for hopup and ceramic bearings. will sell it all for $450. as far as hopups, i have the one piece motor mount, the low friction belts, the rear alumunium support, the aluminum support under the radio plate, the front aluminum upper supports, the aluminum front sway bar holders. car is in great shape.
also, as far as deciding what car to get, i would go with the one that is most run in your area.
if interested in the 710, email me at [email protected].

Thx for the reply. joemugen, $450 seems to be a little bit too steep for used. A new one I can get about $350+free shipping. I was browsing the forum, and found rc-toro.com. They are offering free shipping and $20 off on car kits. And they have 3Racing hopups for serpent 710. (3Racing, are they good?? ) Anywhere lower than $350 + free shipping ?? thx for your help.

These Hong Kong shops are not that cheap. The cheapest one is 389 + international shipping.

Thx for the post, tho.

but if you pay for the hop ups you will be looking at a ton more than $450. the ceramic bearings alone go for $250, the front upper support aluminum (serpent brand) is $56, low friction belts ($26), serpent one piece enigine mount $27, 3 racing rear bulkhead support $16, front aluminum (serpent brand) anti-roll bar $40, middle aluminum bracket (serpent brand) $28, serpent lightweight clutch housing--- the piece that holds the pinion gears $15, serpent option to lock up front one way $7, the updated servo acerman $6... plus i only had the car maybe two months, and maybe raced it in 3 races... car is in great shape. if you try to buy all that you will be paying much much more than $450... plus all my hop ups are serpent (except one), serpent hop ups are better quality than 3 racing, but much more expensive.

plus i forgot to mention it has the alumuinum shocks in front and rear $35--- serpent brand (kit comes with plastick shocks that break easily), and it also has the carbon fiber engine brace $16(serpent upgrade).... this car has almost all the upgrades. also, it has the upgraded brake pads $25 (serpent upgrade). also has the carbon fiber tank mount (serpent brand upgrade) $10.

plus for an extra $25 you can have a brand new in the bag chasis, the car will be practically brand new after that. the only thing that has wear on it is the chasis.

Joemugen, thx for all the postings. I have to admit that with all the hopups, the deal sounds a lot more reasonable. However, I am still not decided yet between Serpent 710 and V1RRR WCE. Guys, plz give me some feedbacks on the two. Thx for your help.

I would also like to know about this RC-TORO, too. They seem to have pretty reasonable prices.
