Just finished building the front end.
No play in any part of the steering or the suspension arms.
No sticking parts in the steering or suspension arms.

Hey Guys!!!

I mounted an OS .12 TR engine on my RRR WCTE and noticed that after the breaking in of the engine, the thrust-bearing and the small bearing in the clutch bell were damaged!!!

During the assembly of the car, the clutch bell felt too tight but there was no way I could do anything bout it as I did not use any shims on the crankshaft (neither behind the flywheel, nor the clutchbell).

Any ideas on what caused the problem? Anyone experienced anything similar???

Thanx in advance!!!

I did not measure it. It was certainly less than 0.5 mm and without the use of shims.

Hei initial D.
I had 710 last year.... very good car.
But it has one big problem for me.
The set-up of the car is critical and the car understeer or.... it roll over.....after 20-30 minutes of race in hot weather.
It is always the same problem. Or you drive a car that slightly understeers..... or You will roll over after long hot races (in my track).
The only exception is that the car is good if you are a good and SMOOTH driver ( i drive in a nervous way=quick change of direction).
Now I have VoneRRR.
I say only 1 thing: 0,5-0,8sec. less than serpent710.
It is the car for me.

That's cause Tower is no longer the distributor for Kyosho in the US. Kyosho America just started operation. After the initial transition period I expect you would be able to get Kyosho parts easier and cheaper from your LHS.
