I have a yokomo SD SSG(silver) w/ CGM conversion that I would trade for a very good condition RRR. It's currently built as the CGM and is in excellent condition. I've only raced it on carpet. SD kit $300, Conversion ran me $149. If anyone's interested PM me for pics and info. Like I said excellent condition.

Where can I find the WC kit standard setup? I lost that setup when I was moving.

Default Muffler wire holder

Ok guys just picked up the wc edition from my lhs. Hopefully he stocks the parts like he says. I was told you have to cut the plastic wire holder off in order to put the new alu holder on. Just want to make sure that is correct. Is there any other quick building tips I should know about?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if you have to cut it!!!

You can place the alum. muffler stay on the carbon upper plate, from the upside!!!
No need to cut anything!!!!

*When mounting the steering servo horn, mount it onto the servo at about 11.30 hours (no, not at that precise time, but a fraction to the left of dead upright ).....mounted in this position you shouldnt even need any trim if everthing else has been done correctly.
*Oil the shock collar o-rings, this`ll make them run heaps smoother.
*Mount the front anti-roll bar flat.......vertical gives too much understeer.
*The front castor may have a bit of "play" in it once all the castor clips are mounted. To get rid of this play use a 1mm castor clip in addition to the ones supplied (NTC3`s are 1mm if you cant find a Kyosho 1mm castor clip).
* If youre building a non-WC RRR, get the aluminium brake hub holder to sue when you build the car (VZW205)
* If youre running a Protoform Mazda 6, mount the rear body posts on the inside of the shock tower....that way they wont come up underneath the rear wing.
* Dont over tighten the fuel tank mounting screws onto the upper deck.....these need to be free.
Cheers Andy

Thanks for the replies, Car is tinteresting with the F/R belt adjustments and the cay the pins are held in on the axles.

Too late on the cutting part .I am so impatiant. Oh well, maybe a good test if he can get the parts like he says.

I did notice slgit movement on the front upper arm. I still have my ntc3, so I will give it a whirl.

Awesome. I've had it since it first came out and it's the all around best handling car I know.

do you ever run the 16t gear? if so, mine wears super fast. is there a way to harden it? or do you just replace very often?

I just replace it on a regular basis. Kawahara makes a steel one that does not wear but it's also heavier.
