never had problems when i installed my s9451 on the rrr wce. it fits perfectly. i used a team magic nylon servo horns... works great. no modification required except to cut the unused horns...

Default Sway Bars

QUESTION 1: I have heard that if you put the front sway bar horizontal instead of vertical makes it more hard. Is that true?
(By the way in simple RRR is vertical and in the WCR edition is horizontal)

QUESTION 2: In a bumpy techical slippery truck, what is better, a soft or a hard sway bar?

QUESTION 3. In RRR WCR the posts of the rear sway bar are adjustable in length. What does it do? What difference does it make if I change the legth of these posts?

REQUEST : I would like to see some more pics of your RRR's boys! Just send some pics!!

i think it's the other way around. putting the front sway bar in vertical makes it the hardest setting.

in my experience with bumpy tracks, i would go with the softest sway bar. sometimes, i even remove the sway bar unit to get the most shock travel out of the kit.

haven't really tried on exprerimenting on this aspect of the kit yet... will try is soonest when i get back to the tracks. i'll keep you posted.

i think it is used to make the left and right arm even when the sway bar is attached. kind of like the eccentric knob of the front sway bar.

The RRR wasnt released at the time of those reviews, hence no mention was made of it in the 2004 Touring Car Review.
Kyosho drivers for the 2004 World Championships were offered the choice of either the RRR or the FW05R with a majority of them opting for the RRR due to its better handling and higher top speed on this particular track.
Theyre both outstanding cars and whichever one you choose I`m sure you wont be disappointed....bear in mind the FW05R is shaft driven and the RRR is belt.
One feature that i find very pleasing about the belt driven RRR is the ease of access to the 2 speed transmission and also to the clutch bell/clutch area....its simply a case of undoing a couple of screws and you`re able to easily work on these sections of the car.
Cheers

Doki is correct.....vertical position makes the front sway bar harder, horizontal and its softer......vertical position will make the car understeer more/ create more rear traction.

FDR:2

which drivetrains ones do you want to know, if its the ones that connect with the middle belt they are front 23 and rear 18 - with a 2mm split of tires, or swap the 23 for the 24 (requires and optional belt) and run all 4 tires the same size.
