Looks like we will be running a touring only 3 port foam class next year at Ashby. We will run an open class as well.

Seems like this new RRR is very easy to dial in. Josh and the other guy are running some of the fastest speeds and the best laps so far in the heats.

Default fw pushing

hi all.
ziggy, i tend to agree, ive spent lotsa time and money on my two fw's (ones a kawaharra and the others standared setup, but with RRR front and rear hubs)..ive given up on the fw and if any ones them cheap.. give me a buzz, ive got the RRR and hoping that this will work for me..i race efra rules,,foams, 3 port, etc..
im not going to buy a mugen..but am starting to get very frustrated with buying kit after kit and still the mugens are better...the mrx4 nitro will be a killer and i can only hope that the rrr is better..rick bartolozzi recomends that i use the RRR and ditch the fw..

Doki doki: believe it or not i a m running my backup modified os tr t (e)spec. japanese model. I am using a flanged zac pipe/mani 7mm stinger. It was faster than all the novas and only gave up a little bit on the out of the corner super drive that the novas get.

I have noticed the main belt wear issue too. It seems to only affect the rossi style manifolds as they are a bit wider diameter. It only happens on new belts though and the belts stretch out a bit after they wear in and then with proper tension it shouldnt be an issue. If you were worried i suppose you could dremel of the back edge of the manifold to gain a little more clearance.

Ziggy, so this there'll be an EFRA type class as well as open/outlaw class at Ashby right?

Mike, its not just the car either ... that "WC Edition" Sirio plays a role too. The Sirio has always been very good for mid-top and apparently they did even more development work on it for the WC.

Wonder where one can get a hold of one.

Will that motor fit in other 1/10 nitro cars? I am looking to get a different motor for my G4. Thanks,
Mike
